1Masters, give your servants that which is just and equal. You know that you also have a Master in heaven. 2Continue steadfastly in prayer, being vigilant with thanksgiving. 3Pray also for us that God may open to us a door for the word, to speak the secret of Christ, for which I have also been imprisoned. 4Let me make it known, as I ought to speak. 5Behave with wisdom toward those who are outside, making the most of the time. 6Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one. 7Tychicus will make known all my affairs to you, the beloved brother and faithful minister and fellow servant in the Lord. 8I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know our situation, and that he may comfort your hearts. 9He will be with Onesimus, the faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They will make known to you all things that are done here. 10Aristarchus my fellow-prisoner greets you, and Mark, the cousin of Barnabas about whom you received instructions; if he comes to you, receive him, 11and Jesus that is called Justus, who are of the circumcision: these only are my fellow-workers for the kingdom of God, men that have been comfort encouragementconsolation to me. 12Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, greets you, always striving for you in his prayers, that you may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God. 13I testify for him, that he has worked hard for you, and for them in Laodicea, and for them in Hierapolis. 14Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas greet you. 15Greet the brothers who are in Laodicea, and Nympha, and the congregation that is in her house. 16When this letter has been read among you, make sure it is read also in the congregation of the Laodiceans; and that you also read the letter from Laodicea. 17Say to Archippus, »Take heed to the ministry you received in the Lord, that you fulfill it.« 18I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand. Remember my imprisonment. Grace be with you.
