The congregations of Christ greet you. 17Now I beseech you, brothers, mark those who cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine you have learned and avoid them. 18They do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the unaware. 19Your obedience has come to our attention abroad. I am glad therefore on your behalf. Yet I would have you wise to that which is good and simple concerning evil. 20The God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.
