1The heavens declare the glory of the Mighty God; and the firmament proclaims His handiwork. 2Day unto day pours forth speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. 3There is no speech nor words where their voice is not heard. 4Their line has gone out through all the earth and their words to the ends of the world. In them He has set a tent for the sun, 5which comes forth like a bridegroom out from his chamber; he exults as a strong man to run a race, 6going forth from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the ends of it. And there is nothing hidden from its heat. 7The Law of Jehovah is perfect, converting the soul; the Testimony of Jehovah is sure, making wise the simple. 8The Statutes of Jehovah are upright, rejoicing the heart; the Commandments of Jehovah are pure, illuminating the eyes. 9The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of Jehovah are true and altogether just, 10more to be desired than gold, even than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. 11And Your servant is warned by them; in keeping them there is great reward. 12Who can understand his errors? Acquit me of that which is hidden; 13restrain Your servant from arrogance; do not let them rule over me. Then I shall be perfect, and I shall be innocent of great transgression. 14Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O Jehovah, my Rock and my Redeemer.
