1Only before God is my soul silent; from Him comes my salvation. 2He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my stronghold; I shall not be greatly moved. 3How long will you assail a man? You shall be slain, all of you, like a bowing wall and a tottering fence. 4Surely they have plotted to cast him down from his high position; they delight in lies; they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah. 5My soul, be still only before God; for my expectation is from Him. 6He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my stronghold; I shall not be shaken. 7In God is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength; my refuge is in God. 8Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah. 9Surely the sons of men are a vapor; men are a lie; if they were to climb up into the scales, they are altogether lighter than vapor. 10Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery; if riches increase, do not set your heart upon them. 11God has spoken once, twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God. 12Also to You, O Jehovah, belongs mercy; for You give to every man according to his work.
