1Silence is praise to You, O God, in Zion; and unto You is a vow performed. 2To You who hears prayer, all flesh comes. 3Perverse speech has prevailed against me; as for our transgressions, You shall atone for them. 4Blessed is the one whom You choose, and cause to draw near You. He shall dwell in Your courts; we shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, of Your holy temple. 5By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us, O God of our salvation; You who are the hope of all the ends of the earth and the sea, of those far away. 6The mountains are established by Your strength, girded with might, 7who stills the noise of the sea, the roar of their waves, and the tumult of the peoples. 8And those who dwell in the remotest regions are afraid of Your signs; You make the goings forth of the morning and evening rejoice. 9You visit the earth and water it; You greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; You provide their grain, for in this way You have prepared it. 10You water its furrows with water; You deepen its ridges; You make it soft with showers; You bless the sprouting of it. 11You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your trenches drip with fertility. 12They trickle on the pastures of the wilderness; and the little hills are girded with rejoicing. 13The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with grain; they shout for joy and sing.
